  • What is ACCS?
ACCS is the Association of Classical Christian Schools, a group that supports and promotes the establishment and growth of classical Christian schools. King’s Cross Academy is a startup member of ACCS, which provides us with resources, networking, and support as we establish our school. Later, as our school grows, we will also have the opportunity to seek accreditation through ACCS that would provide graduates of KCA with an ACCS Diploma.

  • Is King’s Cross Academy accredited by Alberta Education?
No. King’s Cross Academy is a registered, non-accredited private school. This means that we do not follow the Alberta Programs of Study (the curriculum authorized by the Government of Alberta). Our curriculum is sourced primarily from trusted publishers specializing in Classical Christian education, and is similar in scope to many other classical Christian schools throughout North America.
  • Does King’s Cross Academy have resources for students with special needs?
Due to limited resources, we are unable to provide specialized education plans or other additional resources for students with special needs. Parents are invited to speak with the Headmaster to evaluate whether KCA would be a suitable fit for your student.
  • How much is tuition?
As there are several pertinent factors that are still being finalized, tuition rates are still TBD for 2025-26. As a fully private school, we receive no government funding; therefore, our operational budget must be covered fully by fundraising and student tuition. We anticipate that our tuition rates will be competitive with other fully private schools in the province, and are working to keep tuition accessible.
